Revenue model

1. Monthly Recurring Revenue

  • Flat Subscription Fee:

    Every customer pays a consistent monthly fee, regardless of their location. This flat fee covers our core delivery and procurement services.

  • Volume-Based Storage Rate:

    In addition to the flat fee, customers are charged based on the actual volume their belongings occupy to ensure fair and scalable pricing

2. Marketplace Transaction Fees

  • Commission:

    When customers choose to sell items through our integrated marketplace, Sort collects a small transaction fee from the seller for each successful sale. This creates an additional, performance-based revenue stream while providing customers with a convenient way to monetize their stored items.

How it works

We implement a dual warehouse system.

We go to the customer’s location to pack up the belongings that need to be stored.

We then take it to our nearest sorting facility, a smaller warehouse within the city limits, where it gets processed. Everything is digitally labeled and uploaded to the customer’s account.

After a new unit’s inventory is created and processed we repackage it into ‘predictable-demand’ qualified fractions within a pallet dimension.

Proprietary algorithm fragments units to hedge customer unpredictability costs.

The units are finished consolidating, regrouped, and then sent to third party warehouses for cheaper, long-term, storage.

Minimal to no picking and packing is required after consolidating. Saving inbounding and out bounding costs.

We pay per cubic ft at our partners’ facilities.

When an item is requested, only the segment containing the desired belongings is returned to us for storage and fulfillment, where storage is more expensive due to the necessary proximity to the target area.
